Covers fabrics, fibers, dyes and prints, stain identification, stain removal chemistry, procedures and tools, solvents, the proper use of detergents and additives, classification of loads, solvent maintenance including filtration and distillations, and selecting the correct cleaning programs. 

The class incorporates hands-on training with classroom lectures and discussions. It is suitable for both experienced and novice cleaning department personnel.
